By creating an account or using MindRenew, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use MindRenew.
2. Not a Medical, Clinical, or Crisis Service
MindRenew is not therapy, clinical counseling, psychiatric care, medical treatment, or crisis intervention. It uses faith-informed and CBT-informed principles for reflection, education, emotional awareness, and pastoral care support. If you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not misuse the platform, attempt to access another user's data, or interfere with service security.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or harassing content.
- Pastors and admins must handle participant content with care and confidentiality.
5. Pastoral Care
Pastoral support offered through MindRenew is non-clinical spiritual support and is not a substitute for professional counseling or medical care.
6. Research Participation
Research participation is optional and requires informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time. De-identified data already aggregated for analysis may remain in research datasets.
7. Intellectual Property
MindRenew content, branding, and curriculum are owned by MindRenew. Your personal reflections remain yours; you grant us a limited license to store and process them to operate the service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile or the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindRenew is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
